Anywho, this is a picture done if photoshop for one of my courses at NBCC. The class in question being Storyboarding, but the project thingy being called 'Tara's Drawing Jam'... Which you can view at this website...

Basically what we do is we draw a picture, anyway we want, however we want... as long as we're using the pose and basic look of whomever or whatever we're drawing. We then send those pictures to our lovely teacher Tara who then puts them onto her website for all to see.

So, that being said... Here is my contribution to this weeks Drawing Jam.. it doesn't look a thing like Marilyn Munroe, but I likes it!

You can lead a horse to water....

But you can't make them look spiffy on paper!! Arrg!...

These are a few drawings that I did for various friends on the world wide web... I can't remember who they were for, but they were basically pictures drawn from photographs... all of them were done with either a regular 2HB pencil or a mechanical pencil... most only took about half an hour.

So... My name is Carla Marshall. I'm an aspiring artist currently attending the Animation and Graphics program at NBCC in New Brunswick, Canada.

So, as a way to chronicle my progress, as well as the many trials and tribulations of being an art student... I've created this blog. Here I will (hopefully) post pictures and thoughts of the day to day goings on in class. Hopefully anyone who happens to run across this won't die of fright by my awful drawings! :D
